Simon Prior - Principle Physiotherapist
A qualified Exercise Physiologist, Simon has over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness field and an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He spent his university years working as a personal trainer and swimming coach as well as playing semi-professional football as a goalkeeper. He commenced his physiotherapy career treating Olympic and Commonwealth Games athletes at Sydney Sports Medicine Centre and has toured as team physiotherapist for the NSWIS soccer squad and the Australian Canoe/Kayak Slalom team in Europe. He continued treating international elite athletes and footballers (soccer) at the Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital (Doha, Qatar) – an accredited International Federation of Football (FIFA) Medical Centre of Excellence.
Simon rounded out his experience by working in NSW hospitals, exposing him to a variety of injuries and rehabilitation methods. To broaden his knowledge and skills he has completed many courses in specialist areas such as McConnell and Mulligan’s Concepts.
Simon returned home in 2013 to the Northern Rivers with the goal of contributing to the local community through his ownership of Lennox Head Physiotherapy. He provides physiotherapy coverage to the Lennox Head Trojans Rugby Union Club and sponsors local sporting clubs.
Simon's main interests are sports injuries, shoulders and knees, lower back pain (including sciatica) and more recently vertigo, dizziness, and headaches. He finds great fulfilment in helping anyone experiencing pain and mobility problems and believes strongly in patient education.

Samantha Prior - Practice Manager
Samantha is joint owner and Practice Manager. She has previous management experience with the Sydney Olympic Games (SOCOG), the International Canoe/Kayak Federation, the Australian institute of Sport (AIS) and Paddle Australia.
Joanne Ellis - Reception
Joanne has worked with us since 2012 and has prior small business management experience. She is a friendly and efficient receptionist.
